On saturday I covered a wedding at the Priory Cottages west of York for a wonderful couple called Rose and James who travelled from overseas to tie the knot in Yorkshire. It was a privilege to be part of their lovely day and meet their friends and families. Lots of fun and I wish them all the best for the future. Awesome dress and shoes !! well done Rose .
Spent Saturday taking the images below for a great couple katherine and Glenn who tied the knot at the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. When I first met them in Leeds and later in Whitby for the pre wedding shoot both had reservations about this aspect of their big day. However after a sunny but very windy shoot in Whitby both felt much happier about having their photographs taken and it shows in the result. I have really enjoyed working with them and wish them well forthe future.
After a wild and windy start we had a great day on Saturday withe Victoria and Gerard when they tied the knot at St Mary’s Church and then later at the Old Vicarage In Elkesley. Apart from a wayward vintage bus all was well and the weather held for the Duck Race !! Here are a few images that give a feeling of the brilliant day had by all.
For the first time I worked at The Old Deanery in Ripon capturing the day for a great couple Ruth and Gary, we first met in the Royal Oak in Ripon last year and then did a Pre Wedding shoot at Bolton Abbey which was great fun and I new at that point the capturing images on the day would a breeze as it was if I had known them for years. When I arrived and first set eyes on the dress I thought wow this is going to be special. How wrong I was, it wasn’t special it was out of this world Ruth just looked fantastic and I suddenly thought am I going to capture how special it really was!! So no pressure there then !! Hopefully I have and I have selected a few of my favourite images from the day that I think give a feel for the great day that we had.
