Here Come The Girls – Whitby
I had a great “Here Come The Girls” photo session with eight fabulous ladies in Whitby on Saturday. The weather was a little challenging at first but after a welcome morning cup of coffee from Claire’s we soon got into the swing.
Barbora’s portfolio images
I met Barbora Vondrackovab at a “She Loves York” exhibition and we arranged to have a photo shoot for Barbora’s portfolio.
We spent a great Saturday morning producing some very pleasing images. However it was not without it’s drama after shooting some images outside Castle Howard Gardens we were refused entry to the gardens as we looked too professional !! Which was pleasing in a perverse way.
We moved on and attempted to be thrown out of Kirkham Abbey as well, but all we got for our efforts were some more great images of Barbora. As you can see it was easy as she is a great subject.

Wedding Shoot at Hotel Du Vin York
Had a great day at The Hotel Du Vin on Tuesday to shoot images to use for the promotion of brilliant weddings at the Hotel Du Vin in York. I would like to thank all the businesses that contributed goods and services to help make this a fantastic shoot and produce the following images. Emily Williamson the business development manager and all the staff at the Hotel Du Vin for putting up with the disruption and provided a great back drop for the images and this is a superb venue for small intimate weddings. Mia Sposa York provided the beautiful wedding dresses along with the groom’s suit and brides maid dresses. Both Debbie and Connie helped get the girls get ready and attended all day to help with the shoot. Tahlia Borlant from Function54 for decorating the room and providing the covers for the chairs. Kris Strangeway from Create Weddings for the favour boxes and his tremendous efforts as an able assistant. The beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets supplied by Kate’s Flowers a small family business run by Kate Richards in Woodthorpe York. The hair and make up was done by Julie Mercer Beauty Therapy and she also made a guest appearance as a brides maid!!The wonderful Rolls Royce was supplied by Superior Motor Cars of York and driven by Niki. Lastly the three models Dominique louise, Kirsty Kirby and Steve Nicholls from NY Design for putting up with my demands on the day.

Peony Rose
I enjoyed creating some images for Peony-Rose owned and run by Ann who creates beautiful quality bespoke soft furnishings for homes in Yorkshire. All Ann’s work is hand crafted in her workroom where it is handfinished to ensure the highest standards.
